SavLak Pty Ltd ("SavLak", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information when you visit our websites, contact us, or deal with us in the course of business.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Who this policy applies to
This policy covers:

- latlongo.savlak.com, the website for our LatLonGO® product

Data that our customers load into or process through the LatLonGO® platform itself is handled under the agreement with that customer, not under this website policy.
2. Information we collect

- your name, job title and the organisation you work for
- your work email address and phone number
- the nature of your enquiry and anything you choose to include in your message
You can contact us without giving your name, but we may not be able to respond to your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our websites, the providers that host and protect them automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, the pages you request and the date and time of your visit. This is used to deliver the website, keep it secure and diagnose problems.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health information or information about racial or ethnic origin) and ask that you do not send it to us.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry and arrange demonstrations or meetings

- comply with our legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies
Our websites do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary cookies used to protect the sites from abuse and automated attacks; these do not identify you personally.
If we introduce analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this policy before doing so.
5. Who we share information with
We only disclose personal information to third parties where needed for the purposes above. This may include:
- Service providers that host and secure our websites, provide web fonts, and deliver email and contact-form services on our behalf
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where reasonably required
- Authorities, where required or authorised by law
We require our service providers to handle personal information securely and only for the purpose of providing their services to us.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate data centres. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. Marketing
We may occasionally send you information about our products and services if you have asked us to, or where the law otherwise permits it. Every marketing message includes a way to opt out, and you can ask us to stop at any time by contacting us.
7. Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Our websites are served only over encrypted HTTPS connections.
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, after which we securely delete or de-identify it.
8. Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
9. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
